Only a matter of time now
I see Carr has tied the knot.
Sird is gonna be riding my ass about getting everything handled for her now.

Sird’s long and pale fingers slid across J’s body, wanting to massage those sore patches. “You got electrocuted by the Rotom, didn’t you? It went after me in spring.” As annoyed and unhappy as she was that Charon chose to keep that awful thing, it wasn’t worth it to argue anymore. They’d never be on the same page about that little monster. “I’m telling him to leave it home if he wants to come to the event.”
And he would. Eris was long dead. Sird would be the only daughter he’d ever be able to give away at a wedding. “It doesn’t matter too much to me. I’m just happy I get to have you entirely.”
“It killed me and brought me back minutes later.” J murmured calmly. She wasn’t too intent on reliving that experience however she knew full well what could have happened. Even if Charon’s Rotom hadn’t brought her back, her own Rotom would have brought life into her again. The Hunter was certain of that fact.
“The only reason your father did that was because he knew how much I meant to you. Otherwise, he would have left me lay there dead.” she grumbled only to relax into the soothing touches from her lover.

The huntress smirked feeling those long legs shift over her own. She could tell Sird’s wheels were turning and she couldn’t help but chuckle at the ideas going on in her head. “Somehow, I see that as one odd family reunion at a lesbian wedding.” she chuckled unable to help herself. No doubt the look on Silver’s face would be hilarious if he was invited and actually went.
Moving a hand, J gently rested it upon Sird’s calf unable to help herself. “Hm, it would be highly amusing to see what just would happen and go on. I’m all for it.”
“I’m also all for inviting old Mercede, too.” There’d be something rather funny to her about watching that old bird sit and observe the whole time, knowing that the man she’d never given the time of day now had a daughter getting exactly what she wanted. “She’s never married, but not for lack of trying. Besides, I need to get even with her for what she did when she served as a temp replacement for the boss.”
Then again, asking her father if he had any friends he wanted to invite might go over well. She might as well attempt to rekindle whatever was left of their relationship, considering what she currently had with him was abysmal at best.
“Do whatever you want, love. It’s your wedding too.” she murmured only managing to keep a bit awake for the time being. She was trying to just get over the whole ordeal of being stuck in Sinnoh in the very city she hated for so long. Rubbing Sird’s leg, J managed a soft smirk at the prospect of Mercede being at their wedding.
Of course, her mind also went back to Charon. Those words of his still echoed in her head and made her sigh a little. The only reason she was alive and not left dead was because of her ties to his daughter.
“I was thinking of a few Team Galactic faces,” Sird whispered, placing her legs on top of J’s. “Hm…and maybe Damarus. I think he needs to see that sometimes the bad guys don’t get punished. They actually go have their triumphs and happy moments without consequence. You know how much I love to rub salt in wounds.”
Hell, if they could find Cyrus again, she’d want to drag him there, just to watch him feel uncomfortable. He’d probably sit there with the emotional reaction of driftwood, but that was part of the fun. “I’m sure Giovanni wants to go. I’d be the first Beast to tie the knot,” but there was talk that Carr found himself someone, too, my oh my. “Don’t you think it would be hilarious to invite his kid?”

“Let’s face it. Aside from your crew, are you really that social?” Then again, was Sird? She schmoozed to get what she wanted, but that was about it. Most of the time, she stuck to her comfortable group, but she wasn’t afraid to say hello. “Hey. I just had the craziest idea. Lean in closer so I can tell you.”
She agreed that Carr and Orm needed to be there. She also wanted to invite Proton. “What if we invited a few people just to screw around with them?” she whispered.
J smirked at the idea of Sird’s plan. “And just who shall we decide to screw with hm?” she purred shifting to sit up once more. She took her time with that motion however as her back seemed to dislike it. A few people they could afford to screw with in all the right ways if they played their cards right. She just wanted to know who in mind Sird had.

As distasteful as I find you to be, I hope that you will see the err of your ways.
There might be salvation for you yet.Salvation? Ha, I’m already on the road to damnation.
You walk it with such confidence, but I would be concerned when the time comes, and your usefulness ends.
I have always walked with confidence and it isn’t any time soon that I’ll be losing my usefulness. The day I die will be the day my usefulness ends.
“I have a few people I want to invite out of spite,” Sird teased. Mars, Damarus, her own father…yeah. She could name a few. Hell, she even thought it’d be funny to invite Giovanni’s mother, seeing as that old bird never married. “Why don’t we just go over our list of friends and say yay or nay?”
“All right. That we can do although you could probably name more than I.” she murmured. Obviously, the one person she would have liked to have seen attend couldn’t since he was gone from the world. “We should think of allowing Orm and Carr being there obviously. I can see if Z’s widow would like to come.”

Hm? Ah, you must be the N I’ve heard about. Amusing to see you following a person like myself.

“I don’t need anything big,” Sird whispered. “We can simply go to the courthouse, dress up, and get the damn papers signed for all I care. That money can go to something more productive, like a down payment on an actual house…or a new airship.” She didn’t need anything fancy and frilly. The prize at the end of it all was J and nothing else truly mattered.
“I’m going to blackmail my old man into going, too,” she joked. “I’ll find some way to twist his arm into doing it because let’s face it. I’m forty-four now and the only one he has left. He won’t be around much longer anyhow.”
“I know you don’t but I will find something special for you.” she murmured already having in mind what to grab her woman if she could find it. As for a ring, she knew what sort of idea to go with for that one as well. The Hunter was well set up to use her finances to do whatever herself and Sird wanted to do. If Sird wanted an actual house, J would help make it reality.
“Hahaha, I can’t wait to see how that works itself out. As for myself, I can’t really think of anyone.”

“You’re only waiting another month, smartass,” Sird teased, poking the base of J’s nose lightly, just enough to let the hunter feel a fingernail. “Once we land, how about I send you out on a mission? I need to pick out a dress and a ring for you, but why don’t you try to find one that reminds you of me? Also…”
She’d make another needed remark. “Think about which friends you want to invite. I have a pretty good idea, myself.”
“Rather be a smartass than a dumbass.” came J’s calm retort. She looked up toward her beast before it sunk in about dress shopping for either one of them. The woman supposed she should handle it well enough. It had been a long while since she wore one after all. As she thought about it, she started to think of which ones Sird would look divine in along with a proper ring for her lovely lady to have on her finger.
“Hm? Ah. People to invite. Hm, I’m honestly not sure on that.” she remarked smoothly. She didn’t have many people she could think of that would attend such a thing.

“I know Giovanni’s going. Maybe, to be on the safe side, I should watch when he battles just in case some of the other participants get any funny ideas.” After all, the Three Beasts were his personal entourage, answering directly to him and serving as bodyguards when necessary. Something so high profile fit the bill.
“Oh well. Wherever we go, I know I’ll have my fun. It’s easy, really. All I have to do is have you with me, and I’m having the time of my life.”
“That wouldn’t be a bad idea and if you needed the back up, I’d be there with you. Of course, I doubt you’d need it but nonetheless.” she remarked only to smirk faintly. She reached over with a hand only to reach up to stroke Sird’s chin tenderly.
“I cannot wait to call you my wife, you know that?”

“Unova, huh? You know, it’s been about a year since you and I headed that way.” It had been about a year since Nexus-6 joined Sird’s party, all fixed up and repaired. “Maybe it would be good for my baby to visit home for a little while.” The expression on Banette’s face was priceless. The possessed plush Pokemon wrinkled the spot where her nose was supposed to be and scowled with her zipper mouth, wiggling her floppy arms about. “It’s alright, Banette. You’ll always be the favorite.”
The Pokemon pouted for a while and walked up toward Sird, wrapping her arms around her trainer. She kept forgetting what a jealous little thing her demented dolly could be. “Maybe we can go to that World Tournament or something.” Red was going to be there. He’d always been fun to watch, and wouldn’t the look on his face be priceless if he saw his old foe there?
J was first witness to Banette’s change of face. It was rather amusing to her but she dared n to to laugh or chuckle from it. Instead, she merely adjusted herself to lay flat on the bed once more while looking to the ceiling. “I wouldn’t mind watching the tournament or seeing what it is all about.” she remarked honestly.
It would be interesting if some people there would recognize her or not. J just wanted to get away for a while and not deal with anyone but her beloved. “I just want to enjoy myself with you.”

“Really.” She didn’t need to say anything else. J would know. J always knew. That was one of the most appealing and tantalizing things about her; whatever secrets Sird tried to keep, the Pokemon Hunter almost always uncovered them. Her long pale fingers lightly fluffed J’s short gray hair in an almost teasing motion.
“I’m going to see if I can guilt-trip Giovanni into giving me a month off for a long honeymoon. Have any idea where you’d like to go, honey?” The one obvious answer was simple enough: anywhere but Sinnoh.
The hunter relaxed from her lover’s tender fluffing of her hair. It amused her how easily she could be at ease with one like Sird. “I’m sure you can get him to do just that. As for where to go, perhaps a long trip away from the familiar and out to Unova just for the hell of it.”
J felt like taking a good long break from being around Sinnoh having been there long enough as it had for the mission. She wanted to just enjoy making Sird smile and laugh like she was able to.

“You know what date I want?” Sird asked, scooting her body up close to J’s. Sure, J was lying down. That didn’t mean Sird had to continue sitting upright or that cuddling was only for two tired bodies. Her fingers traced across J’s contours for a while, tracing over her clothes, threatening to reveal what it would feel like sans a few layers.
“I think this should be your Christmas present to me. I promise I won’t ask for anything else this year, so long as I get to have, hold, and unwrap you.” Assuming J took that unwrapping thing seriously and wore ribbons in good sport, those would be coming off, courtesy of the lady beast’s teeth.
“Oh really now?” she smirked only to look to the side toward her lovely beast. She felt the touch and didn’t mind her working through it but if Sird did remove her shirt she’d quickly find the array of bandages around her whole upper body.
J was a bit amused but knew it was about time to go through with the whole marriage deal. It had been too long since she promised Sird she’d go through with it anyway.
